Our Philosophy
At Ozzy’s Oasis, we believe impact isn’t measured by how many animals we rescue, but by the quality of care we provide each one.
By remaining intentionally small, every dog receives individualized medical care, rehabilitation, enrichment, and the time they need to heal. Every intake is purposeful. Every plan is personal. Every adoption is built to last.
We’re not striving to be the largest rescue—we’re striving to be one of the most intentional, building a close-knit community that believes every life is worth the time and every overlooked dog is worth fighting for.

OZZY'S ANGELS | OPENS THEIR HOME
Ozzy’s Angels is our small, intentionally selected foster network for those who share our commitment to individualized care, rehabilitation, and second chances.
Full-Time Foster Angels
Open their homes to OOAR dogs throughout their rehabilitation journey, providing the structure, patience, and love they need to prepare for adoption.
Temporary Foster Angels
Provide short-term care when needed from full time fosters or when a dog could benefit from a temporary change of environment.
Every Ozzy’s Angel receives veterinary care, supplies, behavioral guidance, and ongoing support from OOAR.
OZZY'S TRAILBLAZERS | OPENS THE WORLD
Ozzy’s Trailblazers gives volunteers the opportunity to get involved hands-on and enrich the lives of our rescue dogs.
Trailblazers can take dogs on Pampered Pup Days, assist at adoption events, provide transportation, help with photography and content, or support fundraising and community outreach.
Because OOAR remains intentionally small, volunteers can build genuine relationships with our dogs and become part of their journey from rescue to adoption.
OOAR provides necessary supplies and an easy communication platform to sign up and help when needed.
THE OASIS PACK | OPENS THEIR HEART
Adoption isn’t the end of a dog’s story—it’s the beginning of a lifelong relationship.
Every OOAR adopter becomes part of the Ozzy’s Oasis family, with lifetime adoption support, access to our private adopter community, and invitations to reunions and rescue events.
Our goal is to stay connected, celebrate every milestone, and ensure our dogs and their families continue to thrive long after adoption.
We do not simply place dogs into homes, but to ensure both dogs & adopters have the resources needed to thrive together.
Once an Ozzy’s Oasis dog, always part of the family.
